The FRAME collection, designed by Studio FM Milano is the winner of the Silver Prize at the European Design Awards, which each year celebrates the very best in graphic design, illustration and digital design in Europe.

In the Frame collection, the graphic language of the very latest digital technologies blends seamlessly for the first time with porcelain stoneware, creating strikingly decorative surfaces that take their inspiration from the materials, objects and charm of days gone by.

This is the first time digital ceramic technology has been used to conceive an entirely new product, which takes the idea of ceramic flooring into a new dimension.

The jury of the European Design Awards is made up of representatives from leading European design magazines, writers and specialised critics, whose daily task is to promote excellence in design and communication worldwide.

They are joined by an observer appointed by the International Council of Graphic Design Associations, the organisation that brings together professionals from the world of visual communication, who is there to ensure the regulations are scrupulously complied with.
