DesignTaleStudio at the VI Biennial exhibition of Ceramics

For those who will be in the area around Modena in the next few days…we are pleased to inform you that the Museum of Ceramics in Fiorano Modenese (Castello di Spezzano) has organised the VI Biennial of Ceramics which this year will be based on the creativity, research and project-planning of architecture ceramics thanks to an exhibition and its relevant catalogue.
Our DesignTaleStudio immediately took on the challenge from the curators of the exhibition, which has as its central theme: “Universal Ceramics, contemporary project-planning in the ceramic district with designer ceramics for architecture”.

The 2007 edition will focus on the ceramic district and on its creative and technological resources, with the intention of taking a detailed look into the research in the field of designer tiles or, as some people like to say “architecture ceramics”. The “Universal Ceramics” exhibition will offer a glimpse of the future born from the research and the creativity of 20 artists and designers who are deep-rooted in the territory but at the same time projected in today’s global arena. An interesting pair, don’t you think?

In this sense, the Biennial is the perfect venue to witness the participation of DesignTaleStudio, who will be present with a selection of its Pareti d’Autore collection, finely decorated porcelain stoneware slabs that brings a new dimension to usual concept of decorated ceramics, and become a design element in their own right, a visual creation in the space.
The Biennial will be held in the splendour of the exhibition room of the main floor of the Castello di Spezzano and will be inaugurated on Saturday 23 June at 17.00 CET and will stay open until 19 August. Curator of the event will be Prof. Rolando Giovannini, and the catalogue by Giorgio Montanari. As always, we will keep you up to date on the event with photos, comments…see you soon!
