Youngdesigner.it: under-35 Italian design blog
Thursday 6 March 2008
Here, we often talk about some content found on the net: blogs, images, videos about design suggesting new ideas or calling into question existing concepts. We decided to share some of our “bookmarks” to join the discussion with you.
Let’s start by talking about these comments from Youngdesigner.it, a curious blog which publishes prototypes of Italian designers who are younger than 35. A good way to find out where young creativity is going, knowing that young people are constantly looking for innovation and to assert themselves.
Ceramics can often appear in published projects: in particular, we like the Spooky coffee-cup set designed by Giorgio Biscaro, as well as the Lumique lamp by Stefano Bottino. What gave us pause for thought looking at these projects was the use of ceramic mainly for objects, small items, three-dimensional design elements: as we already had occasion to notice, the concept of “ceramic picture” that we offer with our products has not yet established itself in the field of interior design. And so, lets herald in more DTS experiments!
