Peter Halley

Peter Halley

Peter Halley’s geometric paintings engaged in a play of relationships between "prisons" and "cells” reflect the rapidly increasing geometricization of social space in the world in which we all live. Halley has had museum exhibitions in America and Europe and his works are exhibited in many museums including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. He has lectured at university and he has worked as a art critic and for ten years as well as published the important cultural magazine index magazine.
