Prototipi d’Autore slabs are designed by outstanding personalities from the world of art, architecture and design, who acknowledged to be creative partners of the DesignTaleStudio research lab to produce innovative ceramics.

The designers list includes fashion designer Elio Fiorucci, industrial designer Karim Rashid, architect and industrial designer Michele De Lucchi, painter Peter Halley, video artist Sandra Bermudez, musician and composer Lucio Dalla, painter and former showgirl Romina Power. These slabs are just prototypes and do not constitute part of the standard DesignTaleStudio product catalog, therefore it is not possible to buy them at the moment. They are exposed to the public on special events only, such as the Design On Stage installation at Milan Triennale (april 2007) or the The Grand Design Tour exhibition at the main art galleries of Bologna (October 2007).
